9th Annual Corporate Governance & Director's Development Excellence 2018

The subject of Corporate Governance is an extremely popular topic for the Leadership and Senior Management of organisations globally. We have seen corporate scandals in every country and the pressure on the board of directors and the senior management of companies is ever increasing. This four-day masterclass in Hong Kong will focus on the recent failures and scandals of a number of international business and how effective leadership, change management and conflict resolution strategies can abate the chances of a corporate governance scandal in your organisation. The masterclass will cover various international corporate governance codes and regulations and also consider real life examples of ‘good’ and ‘bad’ governance.

Over the four days we will look at how to practically strengthen the pillars of Corporate Governance across your organisation whilst considering governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) trends regionally and internationally. With the recent changes to many of the regional Corporate Governance Codes we will explore the impact this has had on organisations to strategically embed good governance to ensure sustainability, growth whilst maintaining business excellence. We will also look at the need for organisations to incorporate change management, conflict management and dispute management as part of their overall corporate governance strategy. This masterclass goes beyond merely looking at the theory of corporate governance and it will bring together practical examples and case studies on how to meet the requirements of regulators and local laws by embedding a robust governance framework to manage enterprise risk and ensure a culture of best practice, collaboration and integration.

It will also cover the fundamentals on how to embed enterprise risk management or design governance frameworks, policies and procedures to enhance risk management and performance management whilst maintain good corporate culture, employee engagement and maintaining a focus on customer centricity.

By the end of the four days you will have the tools to enable you to lead with integrity and courage to drive your organisation to enhance their governance framework and embed effective strategic risk management whilst eliminating bottlenecks and stress points where conflict might arise. All delegates will receive a certificate for continued professional development (CPD) after completing the four days of training.
